So it’s been a few weeks now since the series has been on and I’ve been seeing comments elsewhere that people have been rewatching the series already. (Some even as many as four times!) So has anyone here started a rewatch and, if so, how many times have you watched it?

Personally I’m on my second rewatch. I decided to do a slower rewatch starting from last week, with one episode a week. I just finished watching Run Boy Run and my thoughts for it (and future eps) are on my personal dreamwidth under this tag feel free to go and have a read and comment if you’d like.

As for other things, the ao3 The Umbrella Academy (tv) tag just passed 1100 fics! I am stunned by everyone’s creativity. To see the show get so much love is really incredible to me. As somone who loved the comics it is truly amazing to see the show get so much love. Thanks to everyone writing, reading and commenting on them.

Well it’s been a week since the series got put up on Netflix and I know a lot of people have already binged it (or even watched it multiple times). The tag for The Umbrella Academy (tv) on ao3 is already at 169 entries and it wasn’t even there just a week ago!

Because of all that I figured it’s time to do a general discussion post for season one. What are people’s thoughts? Which parts did you like best? Do you have favourite characters? Do you have a favourite episodeL What do you think about the changes from the comic?
